Lay your phone on the floor and the tilt sensor shows which wheel, corner or jockey wheel needs to go up, and roughly by how much. (In Swedish only so far.)

Improve the map

Every pin and road here comes from OpenStreetMap — a free, open map that anyone can edit. If an aire, campsite or dump station is missing, wrong or has closed, you can fix it, and the change flows back here at the next data update. Here's how.

! Quickest: leave a Note

  1. Open openstreetmap.org and find the spot.
  2. Click the speech-bubble icon (right toolbar) to add a Note — no account needed.
  3. Describe what's wrong or missing (e.g. "dump station here, 3 €") and post it. A local mapper picks it up.

✎ Edit it yourself

  1. Create a free account on openstreetmap.org.
  2. Find the place, click Edit — the beginner-friendly iD editor opens in the browser.
  3. Drop a point and pick a preset: Caravan/RV Site, Campsite or Sanitary Dump Station.
  4. Fill in what you know — name, fee, capacity, opening hours, whether there's a dump station.
  5. Save with a short comment (e.g. "added aire, visited July 2026").

  • Dump station — amenity=sanitary_dump_station

Campeur wiki: the rules behind the speed cap

This is the width, height, length and speed for caravans and motorhomes in 44 European countries, with the article of law each figure comes from and the date it was read. The same numbers drive the speed cap and the dimension warnings in the planner, so what you read here is what the app calculates with.

The rule for these pages: a figure without a source and a date may not stand here. These numbers drive travel-time calculations and driving decisions, and a guess that looks like a fact is more dangerous than a gap you can see. Where we do not know, it says so.

What "caravan" means below: a car with a braked caravan coupled to it, that is, a trailer over 750 kg. Almost every caravan falls there. The rules for light trailers under 750 kg are often more generous and are given only where they differ.

Note: the site's cap is deliberately cautious

The planner has an upper limit per country that the route calculation may not exceed. It must never sit above the legal limit, but it may sit below. Spain is an example: the site calculates with 80 while the DGT allows 90 on the autopista. That makes the travel time slightly pessimistic on Spanish motorways, which is the right direction to be wrong in.

The pages here give the legal limit with its source, not the site's cap. If the two differ, it is the cap that is cautious, not the law that is wrong.
