Czechia
Cap in the app: 90 km/h.
Speed
90 km/h outside built-up areas, 110 on the expressway, 130 on the motorway. The limit hangs on the towing vehicle's weight, not the outfit's, and the law has no reduction at all for a trailer.

Dimensions — the act prohibits no figure, the regulation lists them
Czechia has a third form of delegation, distinct both from Estonia's (act → regulation → annex) and Switzerland's (figures in the act). Here the act sets no dimension at all but a criterion, and the regulation lists which dimensions meet it. Zákon 361/2000 Sb. § 43a odst. 1 and 2:
And odst. 6 hands over the figures:
(6) Hodnoty hmotností a rozměrů vozidel a jízdních souprav … jejichž nedodržení ohrožuje bezpečnost provozu na pozemních komunikacích nebo stav pozemní komunikace … stanoví prováděcí právní předpis.
Source. e-Sbírka, vyhláška č. 209/2018 Sb., o hmotnostech, rozměrech a spojitelnosti vozidel, in the version given by vyhláška 434/2022 Sb., current version in force from 2023-01-01. The regulation's preamble states the empowerment: "Ministerstvo dopravy stanoví podle § 137 odst. 2 zákona č. 361/2000 Sb." — the same act the speed in § 18 was taken from.
The dimensions stand in § 7 odst. 1, under the heading Největší povolené rozměry vozidel a jízdních souprav, and the opening repeats the criterion: "Rozměry vozidel a jízdních souprav včetně nákladu, jejichž překročení ohrožuje bezpečnost provozu na pozemních komunikacích, a jejich hodnoty jsou…"
| Dimension | Czechia | Article |
|---|---|---|
| Width | 2.55 m for categories M, N, O, R, T, C (2.60 for a temperature-controlled body with at least 45 mm side walls) | § 7 odst. 1 písm. a) bod 1 and 2 |
| Height | 4.00 m | § 7 odst. 1 písm. b) bod 1 |
| Length, caravan | 12.00 m (jednotlivé vozidlo except a bus and a semi-trailer) | § 7 odst. 1 písm. c) bod 1 |
| Length, outfit | 18.75 m (jízdní souprava motorového vozidla s jedním přívěsem) | § 7 odst. 1 písm. c) bod 7 |
The wordings:
c) délka, která činí u 1. jednotlivého vozidla s výjimkou autobusu a návěsu — 12,00 m … 7. jízdní soupravy motorového vozidla s jedním přívěsem — 18,75 m
The car is category M1 and the caravan category O1 or O2; both stand in the enumeration in bod 1, so 2.55 applies to each separately. Bod 7 speaks of a přívěs, that is, a trailer with its own front axle — not a návěs, a semi-trailer, which gets 16.50 in bod 6. A caravan is a přívěs.
Two details the neighbours do not have. The height of 4.00 applies to the vehicle, but bod 4 in the same point gives 4.08 m to a semi-trailer combination — Czechia is thereby one of the few countries where the outfit's height limit can be higher than the vehicle's, though only for the combination a caravan outfit is not. And § 7 odst. 2 says when something counts as a souprava at all:
Pro účely odstavce 1 se za jízdní soupravu považuje pouze takové spojení tažného a přípojného vozidla, které umožňuje vzájemný pohyb obou vozidel. Pokud je spojení při jízdě pevné, bez stupňů volnosti, považuje se takové spojení vozidel za jednotlivé vozidlo.
A rigid coupling makes the outfit a single vehicle — and then 12.00 m applies, not 18.75. The rule hardly catches a caravan with a ball and drawbar, but it is an example of "outfit" not being the same legal thing in two countries that happen to write the same figure.
Method note: the right figures lay in the wrong instrument, twice over. Vyhláška 341/2014 Sb., which a search points out first, is repealed — e-Sbírka's own page title reads "341/2014 Sb., 21. 4. 2020 – 23. 6. 2023, minulé znění, zrušeno". Its successor vyhláška 153/2023 Sb. was retrieved and read: it is about type approval and does not contain the figure 18.75 once. The dimensions had already moved in 2018 to an entirely different instrument, 209/2018 Sb., which was found by full-text search on the phrase "největší povolené rozměry".
e-Sbírka is the same sort of SPA as Riigi Teataja and Fedlex — curl against /sb/2018/209 gives a 1,040-byte shell. The text lies behind
/sbr-cache/dokumenty-sbirky/<url-encoded path> metadata, version, amendments
/sbr-cache/dokumenty-sbirky/<url-encoded path>/fragmenty?cisloStranky=0 the textwhere the fragments are JSON with the statute in the field xhtml. The metadata entries datumUcinnostiZneniOd and typZneni: AKTUALNI are what show that the version is in force — without that check, 341/2014 would have looked perfectly readable.
What was not written down. zakonyprolidi.cz delivered the whole text on the first attempt, 299,469 bytes, with the right figures. It is a private legal publisher's site, not an authority source, and therefore does not count under the document's own rule.
