Belarus
Cap in the app: 70 km/h.
Speed
70 km/h outside built-up areas, 100 km/h on the motorway and on a road signposted Дорога для автомобилей. Point 89.3 lists "автобусам, легковым и грузовым автомобилям при их движении с прицепом" in one and the same row — the car with a trailer gets the same figure as the bus. Within built-up areas 60, in residential and pedestrian zones 20. Without a trailer the car gets 90 and 120 respectively. Two traps: drivers with under two years' experience are taken by point 89.4 to 70 everywhere, and point 90 second paragraph does not protect point 89.3 — a sign showing a higher figure actually raises the outfit's limit, which the protection expressly prevents for points 89.4–89.7.

Dimensions — the whole set stands in the traffic rules, and the outfit gets twenty metres
Belarus is the second country in a row where the dimensions stand in the driver's own text, and the only one so far where all four figures stand there. Point 186 of the ПДД enumerates the limits that trigger a requirement for a special permit:
186.1. по высоте – 4 метра от поверхности дороги;
186.2. по длине: 186.2.1. 12 метров для автомобиля, троллейбуса, прицепа; … 186.2.4. 20 метров для автопоезда; 186.2.5. 24 метра для комбинированного транспортного средства;
186.3. по ширине: … 186.3.3. 2,55 метра для других транспортных средств.
Twenty metres, not 18.75. Point 2.3 defines автопоезд as "состав транспортных средств, состоящий из автомобиля … и буксируемого им прицепа" — a vehicle combination of a car plus a towed trailer, without requiring the car to be a goods vehicle. Point 2.54 defines прицеп as "транспортное средство, предназначенное для движения в составе с механическим транспортным средством" — a vehicle intended to travel in combination with a motor vehicle, without a word about goods. A car plus a caravan is an автопоезд, and the row gives it 20.00 m. It is the third country after Ukraine (22.0) and North Macedonia (no limit) where the norm of 18.75 does not hold upwards, and the first where a higher figure stands expressly for that very combination.
The width has three rows, and two of them are odd enough to be model-specific: 2.6 m for vehicles with an insulated body, 2.75 m for enumerated vehicle types — KrAZ, MAZ-509A, MAZ-543, MAZ-5316, MAZ-6317, MAZ-6425, MZKT-6906 and their modifications — and 2.55 m for everything else. A statute naming individual makes in its dimensions table exists in no other country in this document. It does not affect the caravan: that lies in the residual entry, 2.55.
| Dimension | Belarus | Article |
|---|---|---|
| Width | 2.55 m (2.60 m insulated body) | ПДД п. 186.3.3 |
| Height | 4.00 m | ПДД п. 186.1 |
| Length, vehicle | 12.00 m car; 12.00 m trailer | ПДД п. 186.2.1 |
| Length, outfit | 20.00 m автопоезд | ПДД п. 186.2.4 |
Point 186 is framed as a permit threshold, not as a prohibition: whoever exceeds one of the figures drives "в соответствии со специальным разрешением". The prohibition lies one step away, in point 10.5, which forbids driving an oversized vehicle without such a permit. The same two-step construction as Slovakia and Moldova.
Two more things belonging to the outfit. The identification sign «Автопоезд» — three orange lamps on the roof — must under point 170 be lit "при движении автопоезда", which sounds as though it applies to every car with a caravan. Point 201.1 settles it: the sign sits "на грузовых автомобилях и колесных тракторах … с прицепами, на сочлененных автобусах и троллейбусах". Lorries, tractors and articulated buses. A car has no such sign to light, exactly as in Serbia and Moldova. And point 181.2 prohibits anyone from riding "на прицепе" — except in a motorcycle sidecar.
